  • For investors planning to live in the home as their principal or part time residence, first and foremost it is not just a numbers transaction because residential real estate is a very emotional product since they will live in the home afterall. Also there are tax advantages with living in the home as your principal residence (we can go into detail if you like).

    For investment, I would generally recommend clients to focus on rental stability + returns and growth in the area or neighbourhood they are investing into i.e. close to transit, city centers, malls, etc.
